Job Duties:  

Support diagnosis activities of electrical problems of OEM electrified vehicle programs and power electronic products. Coordinate and participate respective engineering teams and Tier 2 suppliers to find interim and permanent solutions of technical issues. Conduct in-depth analysis by using instrumentation and analysis tools such as Vector CAN tools, OEM diagnostic applications, and electrical bench test equipment. Support a variety of OEM major products launch activities at assembly plants and development teams. Work with OEM manufacturing plants and suppliers, reviewing the process to assure quality improvement and prevention of further electrical failures using FMEA or tools. Provide independent technical support and guidance for delivering global electrical issue diagnoses, repair guidance and solutions of OEM vehicle programs. Streamline and enhance the function verification test procedure and trouble-shooting SOP for charging modules to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Develop local product testing capabilities and test in local engineering lab using Oscilloscope, Digital multimeter, and Signal generator.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering or related fields with minimum 2 years of automotive related work experience.

The experience shall include:

·       Experience in automotive communication protocols such as CAN/Ethernet communication, LIN, and Flexray.

·       Using analysis software and hardware for diagnosing communication data traffic such as Vector CANalyzer and digital oscilloscope.

·       Experience with data acquisition equipment such as AptivVDR

·       Experience in safe protocol and usage instructions of lab equipment

·       MS Office programs such as SharePoint.

·       Experience to guide electrical issue diagnoses, repair guidance and solutions for vehicle programs.

This job requires limited domestic and international travel to visit customers and product R&D team (20%)
